Bible Church
Community Bible Church has been founded for the glory of God, the spreading of His Word and for the shepherding of His flock. The ministry is based on the fundamental building blocks outlined in the New Testament, with Christ as the Head of the Church and each member being a special part in its anatomy. The two foundational core values of the ministry are: 1) that the leadership has no more authority than that granted it by the Scriptrue. 2) each member of the church has the right to a personal shepherd who seeks to know and care for them as we all follow the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. Other Core Values Shepherding: Each member is of value and a trohpy of Grace and is entitled to personal discipleship, fellowship and encouragement. All members of the body of Christ are to cooperate with and serve one another. (1 Pet. 5:2 & 4; 1Pet. 4:10; Mk 3:14; Heb. 3:12 & 13; Eph. 4:10) Leadership: Shepherds will lead by example, serving willingly as God desires and not outside the authority of His Word. Each shepherd will have his own shepherd for mentoring and accountability. (1Pet. 5:3; 2Tim. 2:2) Worship: We will strive to worship God from our hearts, with simplicity, in spirit and in truth. With the Spirit's help, we can enhance our worship experience through joyful singing and testimonies. (John 4:23; Ps. 100:2) Communication: All members are entitled to clear and equal communication. Relationships need to be preserved and no one is disposable because of disagreement. We will endeavor to speak the truth in love and to listen and recieve the truth in love as well. (Eph. 4:15,25 & 29; Rom. 13:10 & 15:2) Rescue Operations: We are in partnership with Christ as we seek to reach those around us who are lost and in bondage. We are the body of Christ to those who do not know Him and we each have some role in fulfilling the mandate of the Savior, to be his witnesses. (Luke 4:18, 11:23, 19:10; Acts 1:8) Invitation: This fellowship of believers invites all who are not content to just go to church, but want in fact to be the Church, to join with us to the glory of God.
